Carnival of Seduction is the second Timeless Sonic Factory album, a project in which the Italian artist ErMan (Maurizio Mansueti) carries on the experience of the first album "Theremin, the way I feel" experimenting the Theremin instrument in contemporary music.
New narrative paths compose the new album Carnival of Seduction, where the common origin is the sensual seduction of the written word, the fascination of the pleasure in the illustrated art, the irresistible attraction of the actors' theatrical expressions in the silent movies.
Among the artistic references: Louise Brooks, the femme fatale of many cult silent movies, the writers Henry Miller and Anaïs Nin, the intensity of the photographic art of Sarah Moon, the Marquis De Sade, Giacomo Casanova and the innocence of Sister Beatrice, and a tribute to complex painting "The Garden of Earthly Delights" by Hieronymus Bosch.
The music, composed by ErMan, goes often in the territories of minimal music dear to Philip Glass and Michael Nyman. Also echoes of Penguin Cafè Orchestra can be recognized as an influence on some tracks.
Tonal and warm compositions, with few instruments, with repetitive and obsessive chord loops, where ErMan uses instruments such as the Tenori-on to coordinate the cyclical nature of some tracks.
But the mixture has its peak with the use of moog-sound, alongside classical instruments and Theremin melodies that create the recognizable ErMan's cinematic mood: jazz, exotica, avant-garde and contemporary music at the same time with a "visual" compositional approach.
Finally it is to be emphasized the role of the Theremin. In Carnival of Seduction, the Theremin represents the voice of the soul seduced by the sensuality of the body, by the tragedy of the pleasure, by the unwritten words, by the amplification of a mental intimacy extraordinarily hypnotic and suggestive than physical.
Carnival of Seduction is a fascinating and intriguing musical provocation: tragic, deep and emotional.

An homage in music to an extraordinary pictorial work full of contrasts: pleasure and torture, corruption and spiritually, moral, warning and eroticism.

Carnival of Seduction by Timeless Sonic Factory is available in all digital stores but is also a vinyl cd produced as limited edition for collectors!
A Vinyl CD has a solid black ridged spiral running around the outside of the disc on the printed side, looking exactly like grooves in a record.
The data side of the disc is also an unusual gloss black rather than silver.
